Vorbemerkung zum Katalog:
Die Beschreibungen der Münzen sowie die Literaturangaben spiegeln weitestgehend den Stand der
privaten Dokumentation von Dr. Eckhard Plümacher selbst wider. Auch die Kommentare stammen
von ihm. In einigen wenigen Fällen haben wir Kommentare selbst verfasst und diese mit (PN) gekenn-
zeichnet.
Wir haben uns erlaubt, Korrekturen stillschweigend dort umzusetzen, wo durch einen neueren For-
schungsstand Datierungen und Zuweisungen als veraltet gelten müssen. Ebenso haben wir, um die
Sammlung auch ohne Fachbibliothek zugänglich zu machen, Zitate aus Oliver Hoovers Handbook of
Greek Coins (HGC) hinzugefügt, wo es uns sinnvoll und möglich erschien. Die Angaben der Erhal-
tungen und Maße der Münzen wurden ebenfalls von den Bearbeitern ergänzt.

Preliminary note to the catalogue:
The descriptions of the coins as well as the literature references reflect as far as possible the state of

the private documentation of Dr. Eckhard Plümacher himself. The comments also come from Eck-
hard Plümacher. In a few cases we have written comments ourselves and marked them with (PN).
We have taken the liberty of discreetly implementing corrections where dating and assignments are
outdated due to a more recent state of research. Likewise, in order to make the collection accessible to
those without a specialized library, we have added citations from Oliver Hoover‘s Handbook of Greek
Coins (HGC) where it seemed useful and possible. Of course, the dimensions and the preservations
of the coins have been described by the cataloguers of Dr. Busso Peus, only.
